The place was beautifully designed and stunningly beautiful, no reason to complain, would recomand. The setting was absolutely fabulous and best possible, close enough to Thesen Island, a taxi, and activities and restaurants. The restaurant was not too far from the hotel.

The room was stunning and fabulous with a nice view. the guesthouse offers super speed WiFi. - Smoke detectors are provided ' safety. - the location is excellent for exploring Knysna, close to activities, restaurants, and the mall.

Location: the hotel was near to restaurants, the garden route and activities and restaurants. We had a delicious and marvellous breakfast in the dining area...

As young travelers, we absolutely loved the variety of breakfast options at Somervreug Guesthouse. Wendy, our amazing hostess, was so friendly and helpful, recommending places to visit and even explaining the breakfast menu to us. The guesthouse also has a lovely pool which we enjoyed during our stay. The location of the guesthouse is perfect, as it is close to everything in town. We would definitely visit again!

Great location near attractions like Thesen Island, the lagoon, and Knysna Heads. Everything was within easy reach. The breakfast had a good variety of delicious options 😋.

Spending Christmas here was an unforgettable experience! The views, from our room, were simply breathtaking! We also loved that everything we needed was in close proximity without feeling overwhelmed. Our hostess made us feel right at home from the get-go and provided useful tips on what to do around the area. The cherry on top of the cake was the scrumptious breakfast we had each morning.

Honestly, there is nothing bad to say about this place. However, the coffee was not to my liking, but that's really just a personal preference.

While it was a fair walk into town, it was easy to get a taxi, making transportation convenient. the gas hot water heater on the terrace caused a slight smell from the rooms nearby and the air conditioning units, but thankfully it wasn't hot enough to cause discomfort.

The rooms are amazing! They have everything you need, like a private bathroom with free toiletries, a flat-screen TV, and a safety deposit box. The air conditioning is a plus for those hot days. And some rooms even have a balcony or a patio, with a fantastic lake view. I felt like I was in paradise!

Personally, I didn't care for the hot tub. Others might enjoy it, but it just wasn't my thing.
